We demolish every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.
And when your obedience is complete,
we are ready to punish every act of disobedience. 2 Corinthians 10:5–6
The Bible is God’s gift, written so that we may know God rightly and receive salvation.
God has proclaimed Himself clearly and unmistakably.
He declared that the Savior and Creator is the Yehowah God;
that the Yehowah God has never created another god;
that He Himself would come in the flesh as His only Son;
that John was the prophet who prepared His way;
that He would come as a man and swallow up death;
that even if an angel from heaven preaches another gospel, he is accursed;
that He is the beginning and the end; that all the words of the Old Testament testify about Him…
The sixty-six books of the Bible are filled with the heart of the Father,
who desires to give us eternal life.
It is the Father’s heart that wants all people to know the truth and be saved.
Yet people regarded the Father’s words as an insult, shut their ears, and refused to listen.
God has revealed the final end of those who stop their ears.
He will punish with blazing fire those who do not know God
and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction,
shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. 2 Thessalonians 1:8–9
We must demolish every imagination and every high thing
that exalts itself against the true knowledge of God,
and take every thought captive to obey Christ. For if we do not submit to Christ,
the eternal lake of fire awaits.
Jesus Christ is not “God the Son,” but the everlasting Father who exists alone from eternity to eternity.
That God swallowed up death through resurrection to show that He Himself is eternal life
and to give life to His children. Hallelujah!
My thoughts are completely different from God’s thoughts—in every way, like the difference between heaven and earth.
On this earth, we may live by giving, call on the Lord diligently in our own way, enjoy what we think is heaven, attend worship every week, and even practice charity.
However, if all of this is not built on the foundation that Jesus is God, then it is something done while believing in a different god, and in the end it will collapse.
What happens when you build a castle on sand?
There is only one way to the kingdom of heaven.
If you believe that Yehowah God became a man, rose from the dead, and forever abolished death, you will live with the Lord for eternity.
