The Everlasting God, the LORD

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
does not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40:28–29

That night the Lord stood near Paul and said,
“Take courage! As you have testified about Me in Jerusalem,
so you must also testify in Rome.”  Acts 23:11

If God were to call me today as He called Paul and say,
“Just as you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome,”
what kind of God would I proclaim?

Would I proclaim Jesus merely as the Son?
Or would I proclaim Jesus Christ, the Son of God who is
God Himself—the LORD who became flesh?
Or would I speak cautiously, watching people’s reactions?
Or would I remain silent altogether? No one can escape these categories.

The God whom Paul testified of is the everlasting God,
the Yehowah who created the ends of the earth.
The reason people sought to kill Paul was because he testified
that Jesus Christ is the LORD God Himself.

Even today, the reason people are uncomfortable
when the gospel is proclaimed is because it testifies that Jesus Christ
is God Himself the Yehowah who became man.

The God who does not grow tired or weary, whose understanding is without limit,
who gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak
He came to this earth in human form to abolish death for our sake.

Only those who hear the voice of God,
who came as a man and declared, “I am the LORD,” can truly live.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is,
when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.” John 5:25

  1. The people of this world do not listen to the truth they must hear,
yet they eagerly listen to lies they should never hear.
    God laments and says,
“What on earth are you really trying to do?”
The truth is this: God is one,
    His name is Yehowah,
and He Himself came to this world
to save us, whom He made His children.
    Hallelujah!!
