“He Will Be to Me a Son”

An English speaker once told me, “Jesus is Jehovah!” and shared Revelation 21:6–7 with me.

He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life.
The one who overcomes will inherit all things,
and I will be his God, and he will be My son.” (Revelation 21:6–7)

This gospel concerns a Son whom the prophets wrote about in the Scriptures
that this Son would be born in the lineage of David,
and by His resurrection from the dead,
it is proven that He is Jehovah God who was prophesied to come as that Son. (Romans 1:2–4)

Another Korean person said to me that I was a heretic worse
than Yehowah’s Witnesses and mocked me by making chirping noises.
I shared the Word of God with him again, and he responded by making squeaking noises.
He told me not to twist Scripture to suit myself and to stop talking about God in that way.

I once again shared God’s Word with him
and asked whether he had any desire to believe in Jesus and go to heaven.
To the one who mocked and despised the Word of God, I gave this message as my final word:

God will punish with blazing fire those who do not know Him
and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord
and from the glory of His power. (2 Thessalonians 1:8–9)

The Creator God who made heaven and earth came to this world as a man for us,
and by rising from the dead, He showed that He is the source of life. Hallelujah!!

  1. ”Who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
God wants everyone to know His name and to come to the truth by obeying the Gospel.
