God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works,
but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
But now this grace has been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ,
who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
For this gospel I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. (2 Timothy 1:9–11)
God has revealed life and immortality through that gospel.
It means that the gospel is that He was raised from the dead.
Therefore, Paul wrote to Timothy to remember the gospel he had preached.
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David this is my gospel. (2 Timothy 2:8)
Those who are appointed as preachers for that gospel proclaim a sure and trustworthy proof that all people can believe.
For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed.
He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead. (Acts 17:31)
If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either.
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. (1 Corinthians 15:16–18)
Satan shouted victory by crucifying God on the cross,
but God destroyed the power of death held by Satan through the resurrection and was victorious.
The Yehowah God promised to abolish death, and He Himself came as a man and triumphed through the resurrection. Hallelujah!
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces,
and remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for the Yehowah has spoken. (Isaiah 25:8)
