Then He opened their understanding,
that they might understand the Scriptures, and said unto them,
“Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer,
and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye are witnesses of these things.” (Luke 24:45–48, KJV)
Repentance and the forgiveness of sins take place when the light of the Gospel shines forth,
for darkness can only disappear when light shines upon it.
Jesus Christ, who came as that Light, is the Creator God who became flesh
the Yehowah whom the prophets foretold would surely come.
But just as Satan presented the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and told Adam,
“Ye shall not surely die,” he has also presented the fruit of the doctrine of the Trinity and distorted the Word of God.
Even today, God is seeking those who will believe with their hearts the Gospel proclaimed by the prophets.
And to those children of the Father whom He has found, He grants a life of bearing witness.
From Genesis until now, Jesus Christ has been declaring, “I am He.” He proclaims,
“For your sake I became a man, I died, and I rose again from among the dead.
My name is the Yehowah; My name is Christ.” Hallelujah!
“Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see;
for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.” (Luke 24:39, KJV)
