Ah, you foolish man, do you want to know that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Do you not see how faith worked together with his works,
and how faith was made perfect through works?
Therefore you see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers
and sent them out another way? James 2:20–22, 25–26
Do men gather grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
Therefore by their fruits you shall know them. Matthew 7:16–20
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:
for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law,
till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:17–18
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26
If Abraham had not offered Isaac upon the altar, if Rahab had not received the messengers,
and if anyone refuses to treat others as he himself wishes to be treated, that faith cannot be a living faith.
On the other hand, faith without such works is a dead faith.
Almighty Jehovah God paid the penalty for our sins and has given us resurrection life.
Everyone who has received that love is made into a person of living faith
