Then He opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. Luke 24:45
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear
the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. John 5:24–25
Why did Jesus say that those who hear the voice of the Son will live, rather than saying
that those who hear the Father’s voice will live?
Is it simply because the Father and the Son are distinct persons who share the same purpose?
These questions cannot be answered unless one knows that the Creator is both the Father and the Son.
If you understand the prophecy that the Everlasting Father would come as a child, a Son,
the entire New Testament begins to unfold.
When you read the Scriptures with this faith, the whole Bible becomes a testimony about Jesus Christ.
Eternal life is found only in Jesus.
For Jesus is the Creator and the Savior.
Jesus Christ is Jehovah God, who created all things. He is the Everlasting Father,
the source of life, who rose from among the dead to give life to His children. Hallelujah!
