Even though they have eyes, they are blind; though they have ears,
they are deaf. Bring out that people. (Isaiah 43:8)
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me,
Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say,
‘Show us the Father’?” (John 14:9)
With just one passage of Scripture, God has made it clear that the Bible testifies about Jesus.
Yet, both in the past and today, people remain blind though they have eyes, and deaf though they have ears.
If Jehovah is the Savior, then Jesus is Jehovah.
If Jehovah is the Creator, then Jesus is Jehovah God who became a man.
Even the disciples, who witnessed countless miracles while walking with Jesus,
did not understand what resurrection meant or who the Father was until they saw Jesus risen from the dead.
Even today, unless a person believes through the resurrection of Jesus
that He is Jehovah the Creator and the Savior who became flesh he may be a great Bible scholar,
yet still insist that Jesus cannot be the Father.
Like Philip, who stood before the Father Himself and still asked, “Show us the Father,”
many people today read the Bible and yet say that God is a Trinity.
Jesus Christ is Jehovah.
Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. Hallelujah!
They do not know, nor do they understand; for He has shut their eyes,
so that they cannot see, and their hearts,
so that they cannot understand. (Isaiah 44:18)
