Be Reconciled to God

“We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:
we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
2 Corinthians 5:20–21

There is a way for people who have become enemies of God because of sin to be reconciled to God.
We must believe in the righteousness that God has accomplished for all mankind.

We must believe that the Almighty God laid aside the glory of heaven,
came to this earth in human flesh for us, and paid the price for the sins of His children by suffering
and dying horribly on the cross.

We must believe that God rose again and gave us eternal life.

When we receive in our hearts this great and amazing grace
that God has accomplished for us, He appoints us as ambassadors of heaven.

An ambassador does not become an ambassador simply because he wants to.
The King of Life must appoint and send him.

This is a special grace given to those who believe the Gospel in their hearts. Hallelujah!

“But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
not by works of righteousness which we have done,
but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
Titus 3:4–7
