John answered, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness,
Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.” (John 1:23)
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:5)
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not… (John 1:9–10)
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations;
and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. (Isaiah 52:10)
John knew that the One who was coming after him was the Yehowah God. Yet today,
even when people read the Bible, they do not recognize that the God who came after John is the Creator, the Yehowah God.
There was never a time when that God was a Son. He is the Everlasting Father.
Two thousand years ago, the Almighty came and revealed Himself as the True Light.
Yet people failed to recognize the Almighty and crucified Him.
Now, when we proclaim that Jesus is the Yehowah who became man, people condemn us as heretics.
John knew that the One coming after him was the Almighty,
the Yehowah God, and he cried out to proclaim Him.
Why, then, can we not cry out as John did today?
It is because people cannot understand how the Yehowah God came as the Son,
nor can they understand the idea of a Son who existed from the beginning.
Because they think according to human reasoning, they fail to understand, no matter how much they read the Bible.
Jesus Christ, the True Light, is the living bread that came down from heaven, the true Shepherd, and the true Living Water.
Unless we believe that Jesus is the Yehowah who became man
and abolished death through His resurrection life, we remain in darkness.
Jesus Christ, who is the resurrection and the life, is, according to the Scriptures,
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
