When it was time to offer the evening sacrifice,
the prophet Elijah came forward and prayed:
“O Yehowah God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,
let it be known this day that You are God in Israel, and that I am Your servant,
and that I have done all these things at Your word.
Hear me, O Yehowah, hear me,
that this people may know that You, O Yehowah, are God,
and that You have turned their hearts back again.” 1 Kings 18:36–37
For this reason, from the day we heard of you,
we have not ceased to pray and make request for you,
that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will
in all spiritual wisdom and understanding;
that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him in all things,
bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
being strengthened with all might according to His glorious power,
unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
giving thanks unto the Father,
who has made us worthy to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
For He has delivered us from the power of darkness
and has translated us into the kingdom of His beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:9–14
The story of the Everlasting Father who came to this earth in human flesh
and became the sacrifice for His children,
who rose again from the dead to give us eternal life that truth is the gospel.
Therefore, the prayers of the prophets and the apostles are the same.
Jesus Christ is our Everlasting Father,
the Creator, Yehowah God, who came in human flesh.
“Let this people know that You, Yehowah, are God,
and turn their hearts back again to You.”
