“After Seeing the Glory of Jesus”

Though Jesus had performed so many signs before them,
they still did not believe in Him.

This was to fulfill the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

“Lord, who has believed our message,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again,

“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
so that they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts, nor turn and I would heal them.”

Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about Him.  John 12:37–41

“Whoever sees Me sees Him who sent Me.”  John 12:45

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.
From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”  John 14:7

Isaiah, along with all the prophets, foresaw the glory of Jesus and believed.
They also knew that many people would witness Jesus’
death and resurrection and yet still not believe in Him.
They did not realize that Jesus Christ is the arm of the Lord.

Jesus Christ is Yahweh who became flesh and abolished death
the Almighty, the Creator, the Redeemer, and the King of life.
