How can you say, “We are wise, and the law of the Yehowah is with us”?
But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.
The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and taken.
Behold, they have rejected the word of the Yehowah so what wisdom is in them?
(Jeremiah 8:8–9)
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life;
and it is they that testify about Me.
Yet you refuse to come to Me that you may have life. (John 5:39–40)
I do not receive glory from men,
but I know that you do not have the love of God within you. (John 5:41–42)
Before the great and glorious day of the Yehowah comes,
the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood.
And everyone who calls upon the name of the Yehowah shall be saved. (Acts 2:20–21)
And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who followed after him,
also proclaimed these days. (Acts 3:24)
But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet,
the mystery of God will be accomplished,
just as He announced to His servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright Morning Star.” (Revelation 22:16)
And He said to me, “It is done!
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life.
The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.”
(Revelation 21:6–7)
God proclaimed the gospel beforehand through the prophets, and they cried out:
the Yehowah God would come as a child, becoming man, and swallow up death.
The apostles saw with their own eyes
the Everlasting Father who fulfills the words foretold in the Old Testament,
and they cried out: that this Jesus is the Root and the Offspring of David.
Today, the servants of Yehowah God who believe that gospel in their hearts also cry out:
the Yehowah God of the Old Testament and the New Testament is the same, and He is our Father.
That He has utterly destroyed our sin and death through the resurrection. Hallelujah!
We offer our gratitude and glory to the Father who made us know and realize that Jesus is the Christ and the Messiah, and that the Lord God of the Old Testament is the one who came into being, and who resurrected, swallowed death forever, and revealed eternal life. Hallelujah!!
