These days, I look for videos about the Trinity and leave comments on them.
It is a work of seeking out people who have lost their way and delivering God’s Word exactly as it is.
Today again, in the comments of a Trinity video by someone said to be famous in Korea,
I found a certain person.
So I asked, “Hey, Mang-gu, what exactly is the Trinity?”
It seems I called him “Mang-gu” out of anger, out of frustration and despair,
but then I thought—if he hears all this and still doesn’t understand, how frustrating must it be for him?
Yet right above his comment, there was another one that read:
“In one word, one essence; in many words, three persons…
In one word, three persons; in many words, one essence… a paradoxical coexistence.”
On the Gospel-centered exposition of John, Sermon No. 54, there was this comment:
“After listening to this sermon and then reading the book The Gospel and Theology,
I don’t know how much I cried.
I thank Jesus for using the pastor’s family,
and I pray that I may live in obedience worthy of this grace I have received.
I look forward to and support the pastor’s ministry going forward.”
The Gospel and Theology is not a popular book.
Not only that—people wouldn’t read it even if it were given to them for free.
And even if someone does read it, unable to abandon their own righteousness,
they simply close it and set it aside.
This is the first time I have ever seen someone say they cried after reading The Gospel and Theology.
God has existed alone from eternity to eternity.
That very God came to this earth as a man,
and by rising from the dead, swallowed up all human sin and death.
Yet people are busy trying to explain a Trinity god they do not even know,
and among the listeners are those who sigh and say,
“So then, Mang-gu, what exactly is the Trinity?”
“Have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are My witnesses.
Is there any God besides Me? There is no other Rock; I know not one.”
(Isaiah 44:8) Hallelujah!!
This is truly a great grace.
One soul has genuinely returned to the Lord.
Even in this age, many are moved and emotionally touched when they hear the gospel, yet they do not desire to live a life worthy of it or to obey with a willing heart.
They follow their own righteousness, serving the LORD while also serving the world.
But for the one who knows and understands the gospel,
who gives thanks to the Yehowah God who fulfilled that gospel,
and who desires to obey Him alone,
I believe that Jesus will pour out overflowing living water upon that person.
Hallelujah!
