I have been listening to it again and again for six years.

“He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure,
which He purposed in Himself…” (Ephesians 1:9)

Someone left this comment on “That Gospel Sermon”:

(I listen to “That Gospel Sermon” several times a day, every single day.
For six years now, I have been listening to it again and again. Thank you.)

Why would this person continue listening to it several times a day, again and again, for six years?

It seems that this is because he (or she) has come to know the mystery of His will,
which God purposed according to His good pleasure. Otherwise,
it would not be easy to keep listening to the same sermon repeatedly for such a long time.

As far as I know, everyone who has come to understand and believe that gospel listens to it again and again.
That gospel is the holiest and most beautiful good news from heaven deeply moving and overwhelming in itself.

One sister did more than just listen repeatedly; she wrote down the entire sermon.
To record all 52 sermons of “That Gospel” in a year without missing a single word is truly remarkable.

That gospel, which God Himself planned according to His own purpose
foretelling that He would come in flesh and blood like His children, and when the time had come,
personally coming as Immanuel, swallowing up His children’s sin and death through the resurrection
this amazing grace is God’s gift, never exhausting,
even if we listen to it all day long and proclaim it all day long. Hallelujah!

I hope to hear again the news that someone else is listening to this gift from our Heavenly Father again and again.

  1. I hope that many, many people will appear who hear and see that gospel and, day by day, give off the fragrance of life.
    Hallelujah!!
