I Will Make This Mystery Known

Pray for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word,
so that we may speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,
that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. (Colossians 4:3–4)

This mystery, which has been hidden from ages and from generations,
has now been revealed to His saints.

To them God willed to make known
what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles:

which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:26–27)

For in Christ all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily. (Colossians 2:9)

He has delivered us from the power of darkness
and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. (Colossians 1:13)

Paul was a man well trained in the Law, yet before he came to know the mystery of Christ,
he took the lead in persecuting the people of Christ.
But when the mystery of Christ was revealed to him, he became one who made that mystery known.
He became a person who had been transferred into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

After knowing this mystery, Paul laid down his life for Jesus.

The kingdom of the Son of love is the Father’s kingdom,
for the Son is the everlasting Father who came in the flesh.

In the Son dwells the Spirit of the Father, who is the fullness of the Godhead.
Therefore, the Root and the Offspring are one.

Even today, all who believe this gospel in their hearts pray in the same way as Paul:
that God may open to us a door for the word,
so that we may speak the mystery of Christ. Hallelujah!!
