There is Only One God.

They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead. — John 20:9

I used to read the Bible without knowing where in the Old Testament it was written that Jesus would rise from the dead.
Is there really a story about Jesus’ resurrection in the Old Testament?
I never took this passage to heart, nor did I ever wonder about it.

I believed the God of the Old Testament was different from the God of the New Testament, so I didn’t even look for it.

I thought the Old Testament was about the Father and the New Testament was about the Son…
and in doing so, I overlooked everything.

The promise of Jesus’ resurrection must be recorded in the Old Testament.
Only then can we understand the fulfillment of Scripture and know who the true God is.

The meaning of Jesus Christ is that Jehovah is salvation.
It means that the Jehovah of the Old Testament has come as Immanuel.
Therefore, God is one, just as He said.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Love the LORD your God with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. — Deuteronomy 6:4–6

Jesus Christ is Jehovah—the Creator who became man,
died, and rose again for us. Hallelujah!
