Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture,
he preached to him the good news Jesus. (Acts 8:35)
Immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues,
that He is the Son of God and the Christ. (Acts 9:20)
And Paul lived there two whole years at his own expense, and welcomed all who came to him,
proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching
about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance. (Acts 28:30–31)
Then the LORD put out His hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me,
“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.” (Jeremiah 1:9)
And He said to me, “Son of man, receive in your heart all My words
that I speak to you, and hear with your ears.
And go to the exiles, to your people, and speak to them and say to them,
‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ whether they hear or refuse to hear.” (Ezekiel 3:10–11)
But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them,
‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’
He who will hear, let him hear; and he who will refuse to hear, let him refuse,
for they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 3:27)
They rejoice in Your name all day long, and by Your righteousness they are exalted.
For You Yourself are the glory of their strength,
and by Your favor our horn is exalted. (Psalm 89:16–17)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,
and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead,
the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel. (2 Timothy 2:8)
A young man said, “In five years I will be forty. If I am bound to a full-time job,
it will not be easy to proclaim the gospel. While I am still young, even one year younger,
I want to proclaim the gospel, so I am looking for a part-time job.
If I don’t do this, five years will pass quickly, and I think I will regret it.”
What had this young man seen and heard that he was changed like this?
He heard the good news that the Creator, the Yehowah God,
became a man for him, died, and rose again.
And he decided to live his life as a proclaimer of that gospel.
Not everyone can live like that young man,
but everyone who has seen the resurrection of Jesus with the eyes of the heart
has been called to be a witness of the gospel. Hallelujah!
I am grateful to our father, who called me a witness of the gospel and resurrection, and I will become someone who conveys the life of the Lord to the thirsty soul.
Hallelujah!!
