“Hear, O Israel!
The Yehowah our God, the Yehowah is one…” (Deuteronomy 6:4)
“I am the Yehowah, and there is no other;
apart from Me there is no God.” (Isaiah 45:5)
This was someone’s comment:
(It seems like the explanation of the Trinity is being interpreted as overly complicated.
It might be better understood as a perfectly agreed-upon family structure…
Jehovah God as the head of the household, Jesus as the firstborn Son, and the Holy Spirit like a mother
not divided in will or differing in power, but reaching agreement on all things through perfect fellowship,
respecting each decision, and existing in complete unity of purpose…)
After I shared Scripture with this person, I received this reply:
“You must be a Jehovah’s Witness. Shalom…”
So I spoke to this person again through the Word:
That Jesus Christ is the Sovereign Lord God who created all things,
that the Yehowah who created all things did so alone,
that unless you believe that I AM He, you will die in your sins,
that Yehowah’s Witnesses do not believe Isaiah 9:6,
because they regard Jesus Christ as a created angel…
If, on the day I face death, I still have the strength to type on a keyboard,
I may continue writing comments until the very end.
Jesus Christ is the Yehowah who came as a Son the God who created all things.
He is the Almighty God who became flesh on this earth to swallow up death for His children.
Hallelujah!!
Interpreting the Bible according to one’s own assumptions—thinking, “It must mean this”—is dangerous, because it may differ from the will of God. The Scriptures were written by the inspiration of God, so they must be read according to His intention.
What the Bible declares is this: “I will go, I have come, and I will come again!” When Jehovah God, who became man, comes again, He will come to judge according to our deeds. Those who believe the gospel will escape judgment, but those who ignore His will and believe in their own way will face judgment.
You may ask, “If we are saved by grace, why speak of deeds?” We are saved entirely by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. And those who are saved will inevitably have works that follow them and bear fruit.
Hallelujah!!
