“Creator Jehovah God”

The LORD is the Jehovah God who created the heavens,
who formed and made the earth, and established it.

He did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited.
He says, “I am the LORD, and there is no other.”  Isaiah 45:18

“Worthy are You, our LORD and our God, to receive glory and honor and power,
for You created all things,
and by Your will they existed and were created.”  Revelation 4:11

“Concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me.”  John 16:9

I used to believe that the one and only LORD God merely planned creation,
and that His Son, Jesus the second Person was the one who actually created it.
Even though Scripture clearly showed who the Creator is, the Bible was not that important to me.
What people told me mattered more, and what my own heart agreed with mattered more.

God is indeed one, but I believed He existed as three Persons…
so even if Jesus created everything, I considered Him one with the Father.
Even if Scripture never said such a thing, I firmly believed it.

Now I continue to proclaim that God is not a Trinity but simply One God.
Yet people refuse to turn from their own ideas.
Some say, “Why does it even matter? You just need to believe.”
To such people, I want to ask:
If the one you believe in is a different god, is it still okay as long as you just ‘believe’?
If someone were to ask you who God is, would you simply answer, “Just believe”?
I wouldn’t even bother asking such people but this is just an example.

You must be honest before God if you want to live forever.
Has anyone ever declared that Jesus Christ is Jehovah God who became a man,
and that He alone is the Creator?
If they cannot proclaim this, isn’t that evidence that they do not truly believe it?
Even without believing or proclaiming this, people are still certain that they believe in Jesus well.

Unless you believe that Jesus Christ is Jehovah who became human,
that He is the Creator God, and that this God died and rose again for us, you remain in your sin.

Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin;
but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.” — John 9:41
