Blessed are those who keep God’s commandments,
for they have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs, sorcerers, the sexually immoral, murderers,
idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:14–15)
Know this also: that in the last days perilous times will come.
For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection,
unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong,
haughty, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.
From such people turn away. (2 Timothy 3:1–5)
The most good and precious thing is the gospel.
Yet people despise the fact that Jesus Christ is Jehovah.
God tells us to turn away from such people.
Could it mean to shake the dust off our feet?
Loving pleasure more than loving God
people exchange visible pleasures for the God who gives eternal life.
The gospel is the most blessed news, yet to some it becomes the fragrance of life, and to others the fragrance of death.
The immeasurable grace of Jehovah who became man
He offered His own body as a sacrifice to give us eternal life,
and through His resurrection granted us everlasting life.
This is the day we hear the word telling us to turn away from those who despise this boundless love.
The gospel given as a gift by the glorious God who is greater than all things
is the love of the Father, who is eternal life.
Jesus Christ is “Yehowah is salvation.” Hallelujah!!
