Thus saith the Yehowah,
“My hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth,
and my right hand hath spanned the heavens:
when I call unto them, they stand up together.
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been,
saith the Yehowah: but to this man will I look,
even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit,
and trembleth at my word.” Isaiah 66:2
The person whom God cares for is the one who trembles at the word of God.
When God says that He alone has existed from everlasting to everlasting, such a person responds,
“Oh, is that so? I did not believe that before,
but now that I have confirmed it through Your Word, I see that it is truly so!”
They are filled with gratitude and wonder:
“How can the Creator become a creature for us?
How can He rise from the dead and give us such amazing life?”
God is looking for people who turn back when they hear His Word,
who marvel, are astonished, rejoice, and give thanks.
But almost everyone prefers and readily believes strange and frightening things.
“A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means;
and my people love to have it so:
and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:30–31
When people are told that the Yehwoah God alone created all things, they often become offended.
It is because they think He is different from the god they believe in.
But whether people believe it or not,
not one word or one letter of God’s Word will ever fall to the ground.
Jesus Christ is the Yehowah who became man
the Creator God and He rose from the dead to give us eternal life.
Hallelujah!!
