Did Jesus Put On a Show by Himself?

Someone once explained the reason God came as a human like this:

“People, do not make excuses.
God came as a human to say:
I have sent your elder brother Jesus; unless you live the same kind of life, you cannot come to Me.
Faith in Me is not easy. That is why I am sending the Holy Spirit in His place to be with you and help you keep your faith.”

To this person, I shared the following Scripture:

“Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death
He might destroy him who holds the power of death that is, the devil
and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.” (Hebrews 2:14–15)

“And everyone who calls on the name of the Yehowah will be saved.” (Acts 2:21)

Another person asks, “Was Jesus putting on a show?”

If Jesus Christ alone were the one and only God,
then to whom was He praying in the Garden of Gethsemane until His sweat became like drops of blood?
Clearly, He was praying to God the Father.
And when He hung on the cross and cried out, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” to whom was He crying out?
Was Jesus putting on a show by Himself?

If you would like materials on the Trinity and Christology,
I can share sermons and lectures I have given. I will stop here for today.

This is a world where people who do not know how to hear the word of God
ask whether Jesus was putting on a show by Himself.
When people hear that Jesus Christ is the Yehowah,
they are startled, and they make excuses, turn away, or try to hide behind something.
They are afraid they might come to know the truth. They become anxious, confused,
troubled, and worried that the righteousness they have built for themselves might collapse.
But no matter what they do, not even the smallest stroke of God’s word will change.
“There is no God besides Me.” Hallelujah!

  1. Amen!! The truth does not change. Yehowah God Himself came to be with us. It is a fact—if you believe, it is eternal life; if you do not believe, it is destruction.
