“For who has stood in the counsel of Yehowah,
and has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it?
Behold, a whirlwind of Yehowah has gone forth in fury, a violent whirlwind;
it will fall violently upon the head of the wicked.” Book of Jeremiah 23:18-19
“Unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” Gospel of John 8:24
“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,
and that believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:31
“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.
God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” First Epistle of John 4:16
God is love. And He is also just.
Because of that love, the Creator had to come as a man and become the sacrifice of the cross.
Because of that love, He had to rise from the dead to give eternal life.
Therefore, the gospel is both love and justice.
If one believes, there is heaven; if one does not believe, there is hell.
God’s very nature is love, yet He does not tolerate sin,
because He possesses both love and justice together.
That is why He had to become the sacrifice on the cross.
But because God is invisible to our eyes, people despise Him,
test Him, mock Him, and reject Him.
God waits for those who are at enmity with Him.
To restore that broken relationship with God, one must believe the gospel in the heart.
It is to believe in the love that God has given.
It is to receive in the heart the love of the Almighty Creator who came as a baby,
and the gift of eternal life through His resurrection from the dead. Hallelujah!!
