Jesus said, “Pray like this: Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:8–9)
God wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and humans,
the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:4)
Someone heard this gospel sermon, was changed, and left this comment:
“I am from Sillim-dong, Seoul. If I hadn’t heard your gospel message from the Bible,
my more than 30 years of faith might have been in vain.
After understanding this gospel, the Scriptures became clear to me,
I could read and understand them, and I became a proclaimer of this gospel.”
Only when we understand that God is one, that there is one mediator between God and humans,
and that the One who defeated death came as a human, can we become proclaimers of the gospel.
If we don’t hear this gospel, we might say, “I’ve served God for over 30 years—what is this?”
and argue or oppose it, or we might just dislike it and stay silent without even understanding it.
An American watched a video about the Trinity and left this comment (translated):
“It should have explained how this does not go against the first commandment:
‘You shall have no other gods besides God.’ Jesus is the Son of God,
sitting at the right hand of the Father, praying to God for miracles,
and even submitting to God’s will. Yet I cannot understand how this is the Trinity.”
This person understands there are three, but cannot see why they are one.
After reading that comment, another person said:
“Yes, Jesus is not God. He is God’s only Son.”
They don’t really understand what they are saying; they are just writing their own thoughts.
If someone does not know who Jesus Christ is according to the Bible,
this kind of confusion is natural.
God’s desire is that all people know the truth and be saved.
The Lord’s name is hallowed only through the gospel.
The Lord’s kingdom is established on this earth only through the gospel.
If we believe in our hearts that the eternal Father came as a human
and defeated our sin and death through the resurrection,
God makes us proclaimers of the gospel. (Acts 1:8) Hallelujah!
One soul has truly understood the Gospel. They have come to know that God is one in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, and that Jesus is the Lord Yehowah God who became a human being. We give thanks and glory to Yehowah our Lord. Hallelujah!
