God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works,
but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ before the world began,
has now revealed this grace through the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ,
who has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
(2 Timothy 1:9–10)
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life.” He did not say, “I am the cross and death.”
The death of the cross became the death of the Almighty because, through His resurrection, He abolished death.
Therefore, the gospel is the resurrection of Jesus, who brought life and immortality to light.
Because He rose again, it is proven that the One who was born through the body of Mary
is the very One who had promised to come as a child. Because He rose again, the death of Jesus is confirmed
as the event in which the Everlasting Father offered Himself as a sacrifice for me.
The resurrection of Jesus proves that the Almighty came in the flesh and died. Therefore,
the Bible declares that the sure and certain proof given to all people is that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead.
If Jehovah God is the Creator, then Jesus is surely Jehovah,
the Almighty who became a man. The entire testimony of both the Old and New Testaments is the story of that one Lord.
And He said unto them, “O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?” (Luke 24:25–26)
