O earth, earth, earth,

Man is like a vapor;
his days are like a passing shadow. (Psalm 144:4)

Since the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same,
that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:14–15)

The Creator took on flesh and blood to save human beings, who are like a vapor and a passing shadow,
yet they mocked God, spat on Him, threw stones at Him, and nailed Him to the cross.

When this gospel is proclaimed, people who are like a vapor and a shadow—mock, saying,
“What do you mean Jesus is the Yehowah of hosts…?”
It is astonishing that both those outside the church and those inside the church
treat the gospel as something trivial in exactly the same way.

How long will people, who are like a vapor and a shadow, despise the word of God?

“I spoke to you in your prosperity, but you said, ‘I will not hear.’
This has been your manner from your youth, that you did not obey My voice.” (Jeremiah 22:21)

“O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD!” (Jeremiah 22:29)

And the LORD sent to you all His servants the prophets, rising early and sending them,
but you did not hear, nor incline your ear to hear. (Jeremiah 25:4)

To those who consider themselves righteous and despise the word of God,
God came to them and was raised again.

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him,
yet the world did not know Him… (John 1:10)

  1. Though they see, they are blind, and today they still cry out that they see.
What stands before them is a false god, formed by their own righteousness.
I hope and pray that they may come to know and believe in the God revealed in the Scriptures.
