“Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached unto him Jesus.” (Acts 8:35)
Like Philip, we also must open our mouths and, beginning from the Scriptures, proclaim Jesus, who is the gospel.
Who is Jesus? What did He accomplish?
Jesus is the Creator.
There is only one Creator.
He is the Yehowah God.
“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb,
I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone;
that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.” (Isaiah 44:24)
To deny the existence of God is as foolish as looking up at the sky and insisting that there is no sky.
No matter how strongly one denies it, the sky remains.
It cannot cease to exist simply because someone refuses to acknowledge it.
Yet many people look upon the heavens and despise the God who created them.
Jesus is not a second divine person who existed alongside God from the beginning.
He is the Yehowah God Himself, who alone exists eternally.
Unless one believes this, one cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, for to deny it is to make God a liar.
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist,
that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son,
the same hath not the Father.” (1 John 2:22–23)
The Christ is the Yehowah God manifested in the flesh.
For our sake, He entered human history two thousand years ago,
and through His resurrection He swallowed up death in victory. Hallelujah!
