Because he was a prophet, and because he knew that God had sworn to him
that He would raise up Christ from the fruit of his body according to the flesh
and would set Him upon His throne,
“Seeing this in advance, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ,
that His soul was not left in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption.”
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

David was both a prophet and a king who saw beforehand
that Yehowah would become flesh, die, and rise again.
The God whom he saw in advance was Jesus Christ Yehowah
who became a man and was called the Son on this earth.
David saw beforehand that when Yehowah God would come to earth in flesh and blood,
He would come from the fruit of his own body.
He also saw beforehand that God would sit upon His throne and that His flesh would not see corruption.
David did not know the doctrine of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Spirit. The God he knew and believed in was Yehowah alone.
David was not saved in the name of the second Person of the Trinity,
Jesus the Son. Rather, he was saved in the name of Jesus, who is Yehowah the one God who became a man.
Before He became flesh, He was called Yehowah; when He became a man, He was called Jesus.
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Acts 2:21
“If ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” John 8:24
Jesus Christ is not God the Son, but Yehowah God, who has existed alone from the beginning
and who was made in the form of a man. He is the Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
By swallowing up death and rising from the dead,
that God showed that He is Yehowah the Creator, who had promised to come as a Son.
