In the Old Testament, sacrifices were offered with the blood of animals.
Those sacrifices were a foreshadowing of the Almighty becoming a man
and offering Himself as the sacrifice on the cross, thereby presenting the perfect sacrifice.
To become the sacrifice Himself, He came into this world as a man,
born as a descendant of David by borrowing the womb of the virgin Mary.
Yet people changed that God into a strange god. That is the doctrine of the Trinity.
Even if Almighty God offered Himself on the cross, if death had been the end,
it could never have been the perfect sacrifice and offering. Therefore,
the God who promised eternal life rose from the dead on the third day.
This is the righteousness of God proclaimed throughout the entire Bible.
The Scriptures declare that it is Jehovah who swallows up death, and it is Yehowah who alone created all things.
It is the mystery that this God became a man, and it is eternal life that this God rose again.
