“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw also the Sovereign Lord sitting upon a throne,
high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple…” Isaiah 6:1
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power;
for You created all things,
and by Your will they exist and were created.” Revelation 4:11
The Sovereign Lord is the one God who created all things.
The Sovereign Lord whom Isaiah saw is the same Sovereign Lord whom John saw.
Isaiah foresaw the resurrection glory of Jesus, the Sovereign Lord, and rejoiced.
“Isaiah said these things because he saw His glory and spoke of Him.” John 12:41
The God of Genesis is the God of Revelation, and the Sovereign Lord of Isaiah is the Sovereign Lord of John.
But Satan sowed the false doctrine that the one Sovereign Lord God is “three yet one,”
and people cling to that false teaching, insisting that although God is one,
He exists as three persons.
In doing so, they are committing the fearful sin of making God a liar.
All 66 books of the Bible proclaim one God.
And the gospel proclaimed by the Scriptures is that this one God came in the lineage of David
and rose from the dead. Hallelujah!
