“The Will of the Father”

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)

Those who attend church call out, “Lord.”
However, if the “Lord” they call is not the Lord spoken of in the Bible,
then no matter how much they say “Lord,” they will end up in hell.

If the “Lord” we call is not the same Lord whom the prophets and apostles called,
then no matter how great our religious acts may be, it will not matter.
Yet people are convinced that if they call “Lord,” they will all go to heaven.
“Because I believe in Jesus, I read the Bible and pray…
Because I believe in Jesus, I serve in the church,
I even cast out demons and perform mighty works…”
But people are not concerned with who the “Lord” they call truly is.
They simply think that if they call and believe, then everything is right.

God came to call sinners, but people think He came to call the righteous,
and they present their own righteousness before God’s righteousness.
That is why no matter how much they hear the gospel, they cannot truly hear it.

The will of God is that all people on this earth come to know the truth and be saved.
That is why the entire Bible reveals the way of salvation.

In the Old Testament, it was prophesied that Jehovah God would come as a man,
die, and be resurrected.
The New Testament is the record of Jehovah God who came in flesh and blood—
Jesus Christ, who became man.

When Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life,”
He was proclaiming that He is the Creator and the Savior. Hallelujah!!

  1. “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the LORD.
‘As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.’”
