“Where Is Your Father?”

The Jews persecuted Jesus and sought to kill Him
because He had done these things on the Sabbath.

But Jesus answered them,  “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him,
because He not only had broken the Sabbath,

but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 5:15–18

“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me.”
John 5:46

The Jews were zealous for God, but they had no true knowledge of Him.
So they persecuted and sought to kill the Creator God who had come in the flesh,
because they thought He did not conform to the law they had established.

According to the law they had established, Jesus could not be the Father.
But Jesus, the Creator, said to them:
“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me…”

Even today, many people do not regard Jesus as equal with Yehowah God.
They ask, “How can the Son be the Father?”
They say that the Father and the Son are different persons,
but that they have the same essence.

But what does it mean that they are different?
And what does it mean that they have the same essence?

How strangely people continue to follow a god created by human reasoning.
But God still speaks today:

“I created all things. I am your Father.
I became a man for you. And I rose from the dead to destroy the death that you fear.”

Even today, those who hear the voice of the Father who came as the Son are made alive.
The voice of the Son is the very voice of Yehowah God, the Creator and Savior.
Hallelujah!

Then they asked Him,  “Where is thy Father?”
Jesus answered,
“Ye neither know Me, nor My Father: if ye had known Me,
ye should have known My Father also.”
John 8:19
