“Therefore all thy commandments are righteousness:
I will testify of all thy precepts.” Psalm 119:172
O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain.
O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength;
lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah,
“Behold your God!”
Behold, the Lord GOD will come with a strong hand,
and His arm shall rule for Him.
Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
He shall feed His flock like a shepherd:
He shall gather the lambs with His arm,
and carry them in His bosom,
and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:9–11
The Yehowah God, who was the Shepherd in the Old Testament,
became man and became the Shepherd of the New Testament. He is our Shepherd even today.
The Shepherd of all the prophets in the Old Testament was the Lord GOD,
the Almighty. The Shepherd of all the apostles in the New Testament was also the Almighty.
And our Shepherd is Jesus Christ, the Yehowah GOD of both the Old and New Testaments who became man.
The Bible consistently proclaims that there is only one God in heaven and on earth.
Yet human beings have turned that one God into a God who is inconsistent with His own Word.
This is greed, idolatry, and death.
Jesus Christ is our Shepherd, our Almighty Lord, and our Resurrection and Life.
He is the Everlasting Father who came to this earth for us. Hallelujah!
