and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

To believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, is to believe that Jesus is the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father,
and the Prince of Peace who came into the world as a child.
The child who was born and the Son who was given is the one Almighty God.
The Jews could not tolerate Jesus’ declaration that He is the Son of God,
so they crucified Him on the charge of blasphemy.
Even today, many Christians condemn as heresy anyone who calls Jesus the Everlasting Father.
Satan works in the same way now as he did then.
What Jehovah God desires to reveal is that the Son of God is He Himself,
and that through His resurrection He abolished death.
On the other hand, Satan wants people to believe that Jesus is not Jehovah and seeks to hide the truth of the resurrection.
That is why God’s people, who proclaimed that Jesus rose from the dead, were persecuted and martyred.
