“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”

They read the five books of Moses, yet they do not believe that Moses wrote about Jesus.
They wait for the Messiah, yet they do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
They call upon God the Father, yet they refuse to acknowledge that Jesus is the Father.
They diligently search the Scriptures, yet they deny that Jesus is Jehovah God.
They insist that the Father and the Son are two distinct beings,
yet at the same time claim they are the same God.
Long ago, God knew that the people of this world would follow false gods,
and He recorded these things beforehand in the Scriptures.
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:
and they are they which testify of me.
And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
I receive not honour from men.
But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.”
John 5:39–42
Moses foresaw that Yehowah God would come in human flesh, die, and rise again, and he believed.
