We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was fading away.
But their minds were hardened. To this day, when they read the Old Testament, that same veil remains unlifted,
because only in Christ is it taken away.
Even to this day, whenever the writings of Moses are read, a veil lies over their hearts.
Nevertheless, whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (2 Corinthians 3:13–16)
If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.
But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say? (John 5:46–47)
If one does not recognize that the writings of Moses are about Jesus,
it is evidence that a veil still covers their heart when reading the Old Testament.
In other words, if one does not know Jesus as Jehovah, then no matter how much they read the writings of Moses,
they will see Jehovah and Jesus as separate.
Some people think that simply believing that God is one means they believe in the Trinity.
But because the concept of the Trinity is deeply ingrained in them, they cannot understand the Word.
Only when one believes that Jesus is Jehovah who became flesh can the veil over the heart be removed.
Yet people have no intention of removing the veil that covers their hearts.
To this day, whenever the writings of Moses are read, they do not recognize that Jehovah is Jesus.
Just as in the past, they do not believe Jesus’ words that Moses wrote about Him.
As Jesus said, Moses wrote about Jesus Christ.
For he foresaw that Yehowah would become man and rise from the dead, and he wrote about it beforehand. Hallelujah!!
