“See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me.
I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal;
neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.”
Deuteronomy 32:39
“In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
“for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” John 8:24
If we truly believe in God, then we must believe what He has spoken.
That is what genuine faith is.
Yet many people think they believe in God while refusing to believe His words.
When they hear that there is no God besides Jehovah, they become angry, sarcastic,
or dismissive. They do not stop there. They say, “You’re a heretic.”
“And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Which of you convinceth me of sin?
And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?” John 8:45–46
When the Creator Himself came into the world as a man and spoke to His people,
the Jews treated Jesus as though He were insane. They mocked and despised Almighty God.
What about today?
People insist that the Trinity is the true God,
and they reject the testimony that Jesus is Jehovah who came in the flesh.
Yet Jesus proclaims the same truth today as He did then:
“I am He.”
Jesus Christ is Jehovah who became flesh, our everlasting Creator,
who died for us and rose again from the dead. Hallelujah!
