The prophets believed in the Yehowah God,
and did the apostles believe in the Son God whom the Yehowah begot from the beginning?
Then does that mean there are three gods from the beginning, yet one?
Who divided the existence of God into three?
Who distorted the Word of God?
God came to give us resurrection life who says that the focus has been shifted away from the resurrection?
What did Jesus’ disciples proclaim even as they faced martyrdom?
Were they witnesses of the cross, or witnesses of the resurrection?
I used to be someone who simply called on Jesus with zeal without ever thinking deeply about these things.
While reading Isaiah, I did not understand what he was saying.
In fact, I did not even realize that I did not understand.
I just thought that if I worked hard at something, everything would be fine.
But God has shown through the Scriptures how to receive salvation.
He made it very simple and clear.
He made it so that anyone in this world, if willing in heart, can believe.
“The gospel He promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures
regarding His Son,
who as to His earthly life was a descendant of David,
and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power
by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 1:2–4)
This gospel is about the Son of God.
The Old Testament was written through the prophets, telling beforehand who would come as a child.
Why did He come?
Because He knew that His children would otherwise remain forever in the fire of judgment because of sin.
He came to deliver them from death.
If we believe that Jesus Christ is God Yahweh the Creator who came in the flesh and rose from the dead,
we are saved from death and do not go into condemnation.
Jesus Christ is the Yehowah who was prophesied to come as a child in the Old Testament.
That God gave resurrection life for me. Hallelujah!
